1109 -- Nursing Home Care Payments

This bill requires a class D felony to be charged to an
individual responsible for managing the financial matters of an
elderly person residing in a nursing home who misappropriates the
person's funds or fails to pay for the nursing home care costs.
Misappropriation of funds can be determined by written
notification of nonpayment to the individual managing the
financial matters from the nursing home.
