HB 1157 -- Licensure of Fire Sprinkler Installers

This bill requires fire sprinkler contractors, installers, and
installer assistants to be licensed with the Division of
Professional Registration within the Department of Insurance,
Financial Institutions, and Professional Registration.  A person
is prohibited from installing, inspecting, dismantling,
maintaining, or repairing any fire sprinkler system unless he or
she is duly licensed by the division.  The bill establishes
certain criteria which must be met to obtain a license.
