HB 1193 -- Student Housing at Public Higher Education

This bill requires all public higher education institutions,
including Linn State Technical College and community colleges, to
check the state sexual offender registry for each applicant for
student housing.  No person who is required to register as a
sexual offender will be granted student housing.
