HB 1208 -- Driver's Education Instruction

This bill requires each school district to offer a driver's
education course and authorizes a $15 surcharge on each moving
violation to be deposited into the newly created Driver's
Education Fund.  Districts may apply for a grant from this fund
through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education,
which will allocate moneys in proportion to the tax base of the
district, with greater amounts going to the districts with lower
assessed valuation.
