HB 1274 -- Mandatory Fire Codes

This bill requires all counties and fire protection districts to
adopt and enforce the 2003 federal ICC International Fire Code by
August 28, 2008.  After that date, the State Fire Marshal within
the Department of Public Safety must adopt rules to enforce the
code in a county or fire protection district which has not
adopted the required international fire code.
