HB 26 -- Telemarketing No-Call List

This bill expands the No-Call List to include the cell phone and
fax numbers of residential subscribers.  By January 1, 2008, the
Attorney General is required to establish and operate a database
of cell phone and fax numbers of residential subscribers who
object to receiving unsolicited fax transmissions.  Subscribers
must notify the Attorney General of their desire to have their
fax numbers included on the No-Call List.

The bill also prohibits the use of automatic dialing announcing
devices (ADAD) for noncommercial or political purposes.
Educational institutions are allowed to use ADAD equipment to
contact the parents or guardians of children enrolled in their
institution.
