HB 410 -- Duties of the Secretary of State

Sponsor:  Bowman

This bill requires the Secretary of State to establish a
toll-free telephone number, 1-800-4GROWTH if available, for
business inquiries.  The number must be accessible during normal
business hours and will be answered by the Secretary's personnel.
Staff must be trained to respond to these inquiries and to direct
callers to the appropriate state agency.
