HB 515 -- Traffic Safety Task Forces

This bill allows any two or more subdivisions of Jackson County
or the State Highway Patrol and any one or more political
subdivision of Jackson County to enter into a contractual
agreement with one another to form a multi-jurisdictional
enforcement group for the purpose of intensive enforcement of the
traffic laws of this state or any political subdivision.

Any peace officer who has completed the Peace Officer Standards
and Training (POST) Program and is engaged in an enforcement
activity of a multi-jurisdictional enforcement group will have
the power to arrest within any political subdivision which is a
member of that multi-jurisdictional enforcement group.
