HB 777 -- Endowed Care Cemeteries and Crematoriums

This bill requires operators of endowed care cemeteries, as a
condition of license renewal, to file a trust fund report with
the Division of Professional Registration within the Department
of Insurance, Financial Institutions, and Professional
Registration.

The definition of "funeral establishment" is expanded to include
a crematory.

The daily per diem for members of the State Board of Embalmers
and Funeral Directors is increased from $50 to $70, and the board
is authorized to hire any necessary personnel.
