HB 929 -- Sexual Offenders at Schools

Sponsor:  Casey

This bill prohibits any person required to register as a sexual
offender from being on any elementary or secondary school
property or attending any officially sanctioned school activity
or event for an elementary or secondary school, without the
consent of the school's principal or head administrator if the
victim of the crime for which the person is required to register
was younger than 17 years of age.  A violation of the provisions
of the bill will be a class A misdemeanor.
