HB 996 -- Missouri Training and Employment Council

This bill abolishes the Missouri Training and Employment Council
in the Department of Economic Development and the commissioning
of a new targeted industries study by the department.  The
Division of Job Development and Training within the department
will assume certain responsibilities previously performed by the
council including the review of project funding assistance,
program criteria, and other requirements and priorities in the
evaluation and monitoring of youth service and conservation corps
projects.
