HJR 7 -- LANGUAGE OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS (Nieves)

COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN:  Special Committee on Immigration

Upon voter approval, this proposed constitutional amendment makes
English the language for all official proceedings in Missouri and
defines "official proceedings" in the same manner as "public
meeting" under the Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, RSMo.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2008, FY 2009, and
FY 2010.
