AN ACT
To amend chapter 173, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to travel to terrorist states.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 173, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 173.850, to read as follows:
173.850. No state funds made available to any public or private institution of higher education in this state shall be used to implement, organize, direct, coordinate, or administer, or to support the implementation, organization, direction, coordination, or administration of, activities related to or involving cultural or educational exchange programs involving students from a terrorist state. For purposes of this section, "terrorist state" is any state, country, or nation designated by the United States Department of State as a state sponsor of terrorism.
