AN ACT

To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to first responders.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 9.135, to read as follows:

            9.135. The governor shall issue an executive order requiring the United States flag and the Missouri state flag to be flown at half-staff on all government buildings when any resident of this state who is a member of the Missouri National Guard or military forces of the United States dies while on active military duty during a declared war or conflict.
