AN ACT

To amend chapter 525, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to garnishments.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 525, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 525.065, to read as follows:

            525.065. In any proceeding for garnishment of wages, a writ of garnishment shall be returned on the requested return date, which shall be twelve months after filing the request for the writ.
