AN ACT

To amend chapter 10, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of the timber rattlesnake as the official snake of the state of Missouri.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 10, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 10.165, to read as follows:

            10.165. The timber rattlesnake, scientifically designated as crotalus horridus, is hereby selected for and shall be known as the official snake of the state of Missouri.
