Rep. John Bowman, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 70) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Bowman has worked for 24 years as a U.A.W. member in the automation area at Daimler Chrysler as a troubleshooter.

Rep. Bowman is a second term alderman for the city of Northwoods and attends Ascension St. Paul Church. He is also involved in the PAL Program as a mentor and coordinator.

He received a bachelor of science degree in business and an MBA from Fontbonne College.

Born July 1, 1956, Rep. Bowman resides in Northwoods with his wife, Elizabeth, and their children: Peyton, Sloane and John Jr.
