Rep. Rex Rector, a Republican, represents parts of Cass and Johnson counties (District 124) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Rector is the manager and owner of a general contracting business in Harrisonville.

A member of the Kiwanis Club of Harrisonville and on the board of directors for Life Choice Center for Women, Rep. Rector attends Ambassadors House Church.

A graduate of Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Rep. Rector is a 1973 graduate of Central Missouri State University, with a bachelor's degree in soil conservation.

Born December 28, 1950 in Rockville, Mo., Rep. Rector resides in Harrisonville with his wife Deborah LuAnn Rector, and their children: Heather and Caleb.
