92nd General Assembly
Rep.
Rachel Bringer, a Democrat, represents parts of Marion and Ralls counties
(District 6) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to the House in November
2002.
In
addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Bringer is an attorney. She served as the assistant prosecutor in
Marion County from 2000-02 and was a law clerk for Judge Reinhard with the
Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District from 1995-97.
A
member of the South Union Baptist Church in Maywood, Rep. Bringer teaches
Sunday school and is a pianist. She is
also a member of: board of trustees and executive committee, Hannibal LaGrange
College; board of directors, American Red Cross; Palmyra Kiwanis; and Palmyra
Chamber of commerce.
A
1989 graduate of Palmyra High School, Rep. Bringer graduated summa cum laude
with a bachelor of arts with honors in English from the University of
Missouri-Columbia in 1992. She received
her juris doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia Law School in 1995,
where she served as a member of the Missouri Law Review.
Born
September 19, 1971, and raised on a farm in Marion County, Rep. Bringer lives
in Palmyra.
