REP. TERRY L. WITTE
92nd General Assembly
Rep. Terry Witte, a Democrat, represents Pike County and parts of
Audrain, Callaway, Lincoln, Montgomery and Ralls counties (District 10) in the
Missouri House of Representatives. He was
elected to the House in November 2002.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Witte is an attorney. He served in the United States Army from
1972 to 1974, earning a Joint Service Commendation Medal.
Rep. Witte is a member of the following organizations: Vandalia United Methodist Church; Vandalia
United Methodist Men; Van-Far Booster Club; Vandalia Rotary Club; Vandalia
Rural Fire Association; Vandalia Youth Ball Association; Vandalia Area Chamber
of Commerce; National Rifle Association and Quail Unlimited.
A 1971 graduate of Montgomery County R-II High School, Rep. Witte
received a bachelor of science in education from the University of
Missouri-Columbia in 1977 and a juris doctor from the University of
Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1980.
Born September 28, 1952 in Montgomery City, Mo., Rep. Witte resides in
Vandalia with his wife, Linda. They
have two children: Jonathan and Aaron.
