REP. WAYNE J. HENKE
92nd General Assembly
Rep. Wayne J. Henke, a Democrat, represents part of
Lincoln County (District 11) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November
2002.
Rep. Henke coached sports and taught high school for
ten years. He is a retired farmer who
owned and operated farms in Lincoln and Monroe counties. He was elected Lincoln
County Assessor in 1986 and served on the Silex R-I School Board.
Rep. Henke is a member of the following
organizations: Sacred Heart Catholic
Church; Farm Bureau; Knights of Columbus; Lincoln County Fair Board (chairman,
1978); Lincoln County Memorial Hospital Advisory Board (chairman, 1995); and
the Lincoln County Democratic Club.
Rep. Henke has been honored with a spot on the
Winfield R-IV Wall of Fame and in the St. Charles County Amateur Baseball Hall
of Fame.
A graduate of Lincoln County R-IV High School in
Winfield, Rep. Henke received his bachelor of science degree in education from
the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Born May 30, 1941 in Chesterfield, Mo., Rep. Henke lives in Troy with his wife, the former Dottie Prinster. They have nine children: Ted, Ben, Russ, Dustin, Charles, Howard, Barry, Shelly and Sarah.
