Rep.
Ed Wildberger, a Democrat, represents part of Buchanan County (District 27) in
the Missouri House of Representatives.
He was elected to the House in November 2002.
Rep.
Wildberger served as battalion chief of the St. Joseph Fire Department for 29
years. He was also St. Joseph’s
emergency management director from 1991 until February 2002, when he filed for
office. In 1993, he was named City of
St. Joseph Employee of the Year, for his leadership in the city’s response to
the flooding that occurred that year.

Free Mason, Rep. Wildberger also belongs to the following organizations: Pony Express Baseball – Eagles League; Moila
Shrine Temple Charity Lodge; IAFF Local #77; and the Missouri State Council of
Firefighters. He is a Christian.

1968 graduate of Lafayette High Shool, Rep. Wildberger attended Johnson County
Community College.

August 13, 1949 in St. Joseph, Rep. Wildberger resides there with his wife,
Connie Ann Wildberger. They have one daughter:
Michelle Leader, and two grandsons, Chas and Zachary.
