Rep.
Paul LeVota, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 52) in the
Missouri House of Representatives. He
was elected to the House in November 2002.
In
addition to his legislative duties, Rep. LeVota is a group manager of training and development for Sprint in
Overland Park, Kan. He is also a
licensed real estate salesperson and serves on the board of directors for The
LeVota Appraisal Group L.L.C.
A
member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Rep. LeVota is an active member of the
Knights of Columbus, First Degree. He
is also a member of the Little Blue River Home Owners Association; Independence
PTA; American Society of Training and Development; Avila Advantage Board of
Directors and board member, Mothers Against Molesters.
A
1986 graduate of Truman High School, Rep. LeVota received a bachelor of science
degree in communications and political science from Central Missouri State
University in 1990 and a master’s degree in business management from Baker
University in 1996.
Born
March 22, 1968 in Kansas City, Rep. LeVota lives in Independence with his wife,
Nancy. They have two children: Meghan and Madeline.
