REP. ALBERT J. (AL) LIESE

92nd General Assembly

 

Rep. Albert J. (Al) Liese, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 79) in the Missouri House of Representatives.  He was elected to the House in November 2002.

 

Rep. Liese is a full-time legislator who retired after 29 years as an operating engineer with AmerenUE.  He also served in the United States Coast Guard.

 

A member of St. Blaise Church, Rep. Liese is also a member of the Maryland Heights and Westpoint Chamber of Commerce and St. John Bosco Century Club.  He is also a volunteer for the United Way.

 

Rep. Liese has been honored with the Community Service Award Superior Performance for improved parks and storm water.

 

A 1958 graduate of Laboure High School, Rep. Liese attended Washington University and the University of Chicago.  He received a certificate in industrial electronics in 1991.

 

Born March 24, 1940, in Pine Lawn, Mo., Rep. Liese lives in Maryland Heights with his wife, Rosemarie.  They have two children:  Christopher and Patricia.
