REP. SAM PAGE

92nd General Assembly

Rep. Sam Page, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 82) in the Missouri House of Representatives.  He was elected to the House in November 2002.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Page is a practicing physician who is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management.  He was appointed in 2000, by the late Gov. Mel Carnahan to the Missouri Senior Rx Program and is a former city council member in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

Rep. Page is a member of the following organizations:  St. Louis Rotary International; Missouri Chamber of Commerce; president, St. Louis Beta Theta Pi Alumni Club; American Medical Association; American Society of Anesthesiologists; Missouri State Medical Association; St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society; Missouri Society of Anesthesiologists; and the St. Louis Society of Anesthesiologists.

Rep. Page received the Service Excellence Award from the Brain Injury Association of Missouri.

Rep. Page graduated with distinction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a bachelor of arts in chemistry and a minor in Spanish.  As an undergraduate he served as president of the student government.

He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and was again elected president of the student government.  He was selected to Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.  He completed a residency in anesthesiology at Northwestern University Medical School Department of Anesthesiology and a fellowship in pain management at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis.

Born May 24, 1965 in Kansas City, Rep. Page lives in Creve Coeur with his wife, Dr. Jennifer Page.  They have two children:  Logan and Luke.
