92nd General Assembly
Rep.
Mark Bruns, a Republican, represents part of Cole County (District 113) in the
Missouri House of Representatives. He
was elected to the House in November 2002.
Rep.
Bruns retired as a fire department captain in 2000, after 15 years with the
Jefferson City fire department.
A
member of St. Peter Church, Rep. Bruns also is a member of the following
organizations: vice president, St.
Peter School Board; board member, St. Peter Foundation; advisor to Jefferson
City/Cole County Hazardous Materials Team; member, Jefferson City Area Chamber
of Commerce; and member, Knights of Columbus.
In
1985, Rep. Bruns was named an Outstanding Young Man of America.
A
1979 graduate of Helias High School, Rep. Bruns attended Lincoln University.
Born
March 14, 1961 in Jefferson City, Rep. Bruns resides in Wardsville with his
wife, Marybeth. They have four
children: Wes, Kyle, Joey and Lisa.
