92nd General Assembly
Rep.
Kevin Wilson, a Republican, represents parts of Newton and McDonald counties
(District 130) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November
2002.
In
addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Wilson is a management consultant with
Kbwilson and Associates, L.L.C. He
previously worked as corporate director of human resources for MOARK, L.L.C.;
human resources manager for La-Z-Boy Midwest and was director of personnel
services for the Joplin R-VIII Schools.
He was honorably discharged with the rank of captain from the United
States Air Force in 1985.
Rep.
Wilson was named one of the top five First Year Jaycees in the U.S. as well as
Outstanding Young Man of America.
A
deacon at Neosho First Baptist Church, Rep. Wilson is a member of the following
organizations: Neosho R-V School Board,
past member and past president; Neosho Exchange club, past president; Neosho
Chamber of Commerce, past board member; Seneca Chamber of Commerce; Anderson
Chamber of Commerce; Neosho Area Economic Development Committee and Children’s
Mercy Hospital, vice chairman of the regional council and past member of the
governing board; and the Christopher Foundation
A
1976 graduate of Neosho High School, Rep. Wilson received a bachelor of science
degree in management from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1980 and a
master’s in management from Golden Gate University in 1983.
Born
September 24, 1958 in Neosho, Rep. Wilson resides there with his wife,
Melody. They have two children: Sean
and Patrick.
