REP. MIKE CUNNINGHAM

92nd General Assembly

 

Rep. Mike Cunningham, a Republican, represents Webster County and part of Greene County (District 145) in the Missouri House of Representatives.  He was elected to the House in November 2002.

 

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Cunningham is a livestock farmer.  In 2001, he retired as owner and manager of Cunningham’s Fresh Foods, a supermarket in Marshfield, Mo.  Rep. Cunningham served as city administrator for Marshfield from 1974-79 and worked for Coca-Cola U.S.A. in Atlanta, Ga.  He also received an honorable discharge from the United States Army, serving from 1967-69, attaining the rank of sergeant E-5 in the military police.

 

A member of First Baptist Church in Marshfield, Rep. Cunningham is also a member of the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce; Marshfield Industrial Authority; Marshfield Development League; Marshfield Public School Foundation; Marshfield Farm Bureau; Missouri Foxtrotter Horse Association and the AQHA.

 

A 1965 graduate of Macon High School, Rep. Cunningham attended Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Fla., and received a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a minor in economics from Truman State University in 1972.

 

Born January 8, 1947, in Columbia, Mo., Rep. Cunningham resides in Marshfield with his wife, Neena.  They have three children:  Zack, Seth and Leah.
