Rep. Robert
Mayer, a Republican, represents parts of Cape Girardeau, Stoddard and Wayne
counties (District 159) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
In addition to
his legislative duties, Rep. Mayer is an attorney. He previously worked as a farmer, broadcaster and an industrial
engineering clerk.
Rep. Mayer is currently
a board member and past president of the Keller Library Board and a member of:
the Dexter Kiwanis Club, Missouri Farm Bureau, Dexter Chamber of Commerce, the
Stoddard County Bar and Missouri Bar.
He attends the First Baptist Church in Dexter.
A 1975
graduate of Dexter High School, Rep. Mayer received a degree in political
science from Southeast Missouri State University and a juris doctorate from the
University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Born February
25, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, Rep. Mayer lives in Dexter with his wife, Nancy
Tuley Mayer. They have three children:
Jason, Dustin and Daniel.
