REP. OTTO BEAN Jr.

92nd General Assembly

 

Rep. Otto Bean Jr., a Republican, represents parts of Dunklin, Butler and Stoddard counties (District 163) in the Missouri House.  He was elected to the House in November 2002.

 

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Bean is a farmer.  He also served in the National Guard for eight years, achieving the rank of First Lieutenant.

 

Rep. Bean is a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Caruthersville, Mo.

 

A 1956 graduate of Western Military Academy, Rep. Bean received a degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri in 1971.

 

Born January 1, 1938, in Gideon, Mo., Rep. Bean lives in Holcomb with his wife, Janet Stillman Bean.  They have two children:  Barry Brent Bean and Jason Stillman Bean.
