HB 1586 -- Department of Transportation

Co-Sponsors:  Pryor, Patek, Pouche, Myers, Naeger

This bill creates the Emergency Bridge Repair and Replacement
Fund.  State and federal aid and other sources of revenue may be
deposited in this fund.  The General Assembly is required to
appropriate $25 million annually into the fund.  The Department
of Transportation is required to provide a list of the 25 most
deficient bridges in the state to the Governor and General
Assembly.  Moneys in this fund will be used to repair or replace
these bridges.
